Job Description

Internal AuditorThe Internal Auditor will support the Lead Internal Auditor in delivering independent audit and advisory services across financial, operational, information technology, information security, and other business functions. The role will execute regulatory, client, compliance, and risk-based audits, participate in all phases of the audit lifecycle, and assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, policies, processes, and procedures. This position will report to the Lead Internal Auditor.ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:Support day-to-day audit activities.Participate in audit planning.Conduct walkthroughs and interviews with process/control owners.Obtain and evaluate audit evidence.Perform control design and operating effectiveness testing.Identify control deficiencies, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement.Develop findings supported by sufficient and appropriate evidence.Assist with drafting audit reports.Track remediation and validate management's corrective actions.Assist in managing the GRC tool utilized for testing and evidence collection.Review and assist with policies and procedures documentation.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum Education and/or Experience:Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Finance, Accounting, Audit, or Risk ManagementCPA, CISA, or CIA candidate - preferredMinimum 3-5 years of successful and progressive work experience in services industryWork experience should be from the following areas: audit, consulting, accounting, risk managementSkills/Abilities:Must have excellent verbal and written communication skillsInterpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and resolve conflictAbility to relate to all levels in an organizationMust be highly organized and detail orientedMS Office advanced experienceAnalytical and problem-solving skillsExhibits reasoned decision makingContinuous drive towards process improvement and efficiencyBenefits Overview:Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
