We are looking for a dedicated Tool Room Attendant to keep our operations running smoothly. In this essential role, you will manage, distribute, and maintain the tooling and equipment our machinists rely on to deliver top-tier work.
-- The Details Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Shift: 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM Location: Temple, TX -- What You Will Do You will ensure our tooling is in peak condition, perfectly organized, and instantly available. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Operations & Setup: Issuing tooling, fixtures, and equipment to CNC machinists, and assisting in setting up tooling for machining operations. Inventory & Tracking: Maintaining accurate computer records of tool inventory and usage, generating reports via Microsoft products, and notifying supervisors of shortages before they impact production. Quality Control: Inspecting tooling for wear or damage, coordinating repairs, and keeping all equipment properly cleaned and stored. Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and measurement tools. Safety & Compliance: Championing a safe work environment by following OSHA standards, actively participating in safety training, and accurately submitting daily production sheets. -- Who We Are Looking For We want a resourceful problem-solver who takes pride in their work. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards (machine operation, electrical, fall protection, hazard communication). Comfortable working in a dynamic warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures, moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and occasionally loud noise levels.
