Key Responsibilities

Evaluate posture, gait, balance, coordination, and strength to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility and independence
Lead, guide, and direct the delivery of physical therapy services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations and established facility policies
Work with residents on functional tasks such as transfers, ambulation, and stair climbing to promote independence
Provide care and services in compliance with skilled nursing facility regulations, procedures, and long-term care guidelines
Dress code: Scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Missouri
Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience
Meets all educational requirements associated with PT licensure
Valid driver's license in the state of employment
Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations and long-term care guidelines

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
Familiarity with CMS quality standards and nursing home compliance requirements
